Kelli and Matt met in San Pedro while attending medical school at St. Matthew's University. They were married in 2003, and returned to Ambergris Caye with their four children, parents and siblings to renew their vows for their ten year wedding anniversary in August of 2013. 

Just a few years later, Matt and Kelli plus Ryan (Kelli and Ryan are siblings) and Emily planned a joint trip to Napa Valley, where Kelli and Emily had just enough wine to decide to purchase tiny plots of land - each only big enough for one single vine! 

Ryan and Emily planned to get married in Belize in June of 2020, but when the country closed borders due to the pandemic, they had to reschedule to June of 2021. They got married there in the summer of 2021,  just north of Miramar Villas at Victoria House. 

When Miramar Villa #8 came on the market in the spring of 2021, the decision to purchase this beautiful property was easy, as we all hoped tourism would resume and the island would be booming in the near future. Of course the longer term vision of it is as a retirement property to enjoy with our families. Our mission is to provide joy for our families, friends, and visitors, while delivering an exceptional Belizean experience to all who stay on this magnificent island. 

What started with two tiny vines, has expanded into two full-grown, healthy vines, plus one spectacular beach-front villa in Belize! Adventures await in both Napa and Belize - please see our travel recommendations for everything we love about both locations.
